Political Work

  • BRS’ research helped shape the communications strategy that led to the defeat of California Propositions 74 and 76 , Governor Schwarzenegger’s initiatives that would have changed teacher tenure and given the Governor sole power to cut funding from schools

  • BRS provided winning research and strategic advice to progressive ballot initiatives in difficult states, such as defeating Amendment A in 2002 and passing Amendment E in 1998, both in South Dakota, which outlawed corporate agriculture in the state.

  • BRS conducted focus groups to test television advertisements for the Clinton-Gore campaign in New Mexico and to inform final strategic decisions for the Clinton-Gore campaign in Ohio in 1992.

  • BRS helped Congressional, Senate, and local candidates identify the issues and characteristics that are most important to voters and communicate on those themes that matter most.
